Every time we ate a frozen burger (no offense to our competitors), the
frozen puck didn't satisfy our palette. So as we tell our kids, instead of complaining...DO something about it!
Therefore, we decided to create our own gourmet delight, using the best ingredients that we could find. Instead of ingredients
we couldn't pronounce and that were made in a chemistry lab, we wanted to create a burger made from all
natural, wholesome stuff.
Then Denis went
to work. For months, Denis created and we ate many, many different kinds of veggie burgers... friends came
over and we served veggie burgers, the kids had veggie burgers in their lunches and whenever we were invited to someone's
home we brought veggie burgers...and finally...Denis created this wonderful rice burger with lots of flavor! Now,
what should we call it? Once you try one, you will know why it is called the Divine Burger.
.
We first introduced the Divine Burger
into the cafe in August of 2007 (that's when we opened).
Our goal was to sell them in retail
packs from the cafe. Our customers enjoyed them so much that they wanted to buy them to enjoy at home. So within
six months we started selling them out of the cafe in packs of four, frozen.
In September of
2009, a fabulous company with high quality standards like ours, began distributing the Divine Burger. Dole & Baily
out of Woburn, MA now sells the Divine Burger to it customers across the northeast and in CT & NY...and our story continues.
